The Electrical Engineer analyses site equipment performance and responds to plant operational events. Drives site asset improvement in the areas of safety, reliability and equipment capability. Liaises with suppliers, contractors and project teams in acquiring electrical equipment, ensuring that specifications are met and following the project through to commissioning.
We are looking for candidates with a university degree in Electrical Engineering. Knowledge of design and maintenance requirements for electrical systems and equipment including switchgear, motors, motor starters, protective relaying equipment, battery chargers and uninterruptible power supplies. A broad knowledge of applicable codes and regulations. Some years of professional experience is preferred but not required.
